(April 13, 2024) SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Barrett-Jackson will offer 11 diverse vehicles with No Reserve from John Staluppi’s Cars of Dreams Collection during this year’s Palm Beach Auction, to be held at the South Florida Fairgrounds April 18-20. Among the highlights of the collection is an extensively customized Torch Red 1973 Corvette convertible and a restored 1954 Buick Skylark convertible that is one of 836 examples produced for that model year.

According to Barrett-Jackson, the 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SE being auctioned at its April 18-20 Palm Beach event was the last one personally owned by Burt Reynolds.

Lamborghini 350 GT returns to Geneva 60 years after its debut

(March 18, 2024) In March 1964, Automobili Lamborghini was still in its infancy. Established just a few months previously, it had presented its first prototype in October 1963, known as the 350 GTV and designed by Franco Scaglione and built at Carrozzeria Sargiotto in Turin. The production car, derived from that first prototype (which remained a one-off), was the 350 GT, presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1964.

(March 18, 2024) Mecum Auctions’ most recent event at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., saw overall sales totals eclipse $54 million as 942 classic and collector vehicles hammered sold throughout the five-day auction event. Headlined by the $1.815 million sale of a highly awarded L88 Corvette top sales results at the auction included a variety of American-built favorites from Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge and Cadillac.

'Eyes on the Road: Art of the Automotive
Landscape' showcases artists, designers

(March 15, 2024) LOS ANGELES — The Petersen Automotive Museum will debut its newest exhibit, “Eyes on the Road: Art of the Automotive Landscape,” on March 30. The display, which explores the intersection of art, the motoring environment and automotive innovation, will feature a curated selection of concept cars and artwork from iconic artists, including Ed Ruscha, Andy Warhol and David Hockney.

Record 27,000 automotive enthusiasts
celebrated car culture over four days  

(March 6, 2024) AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. — A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO was crowned Best in Show, Concours de Sport while a 1947 Delahaye 135MS Narval Cariolet took home Best in Show, Concours d’Elegance at the 29th annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. The Sunday Concours concluded a week long celebration of the automobile which included auction, seminars, film viewings and several automotive events. In total, over 27,000 automotive enthusiasts visited The Amelia between Feb. 29 and March 3.
